Katie was raised in Lafayette and lives in Longmont. Katie started working in politics as a community organizer for President Obama in Lafayette and Erie, and has worked actively during every election cycle since. She also worked as a legislative aide in the State Capitol and led healthcare, housing, and women’s rights policy for U.S. Congressman Joe Neguse. Finally, she has been a Vice Chair of the Boulder County Democrats and a member of the Longmont Area Dems board.
